Everything here says a violence that is difficult to contain: the twist of the wild beast, the sharp point of its claws that the metallic echo of the bronze amplifies, somehow become one with the human figure. A figure at the mercy of the monster and its gaping mouth. Lamore revisits the rough tradition of the bestiary, from Rubens to Delacroix, by assigning it a political and symbolic word.

Tout ici dit une violence difficilement contenue : la torsion du fauve, la pointe acérée de ses griffes que l'écho métallique du bronze amplifie, font corps en quelque sorte avec la figure humaine. Une figure à la merci du monstre et de sa gueule béante. Lamore revisite la rugueuse tradition du bestiaire, de Rubens à Delacroix, en lui assignant une parole politique et symbolique.
